Dan Buchholz Fittingly, in a season in which the Settlers set new high-water marks in virtually every major statistical category, the postseason individual honors did not disappoint as well. Seven Settlers made the All-GLSCL teams, including an organization-best four first-teamers. Second-year Settlers Dan Buchholz (UW-Milwaukee) and John McCambridge (Xavier University) led the way on the First Team, as Buchholz was recognized as the league's top catcher while McCambridge joined a trio of outfielders. Chris Serritella (Southern Illinois University) added to his lengthy list of accomplishments this season with a First Team nod at first base. Nick Karow (Furman University), ten for ten on saves this season, was the league's top reliever. The Second Team included Aaron Roberts (Southern Illinois University) in the outfield, Kyle McMillen (Kent State University) as a utility man, and Phil Klein (Youngstown State University) as one of the best starting pitchers. Licking County wrapped up the season with a team-record 24 wins, including their first postseason appearance since the team's inaugural season in 2006.
